With deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of our colleague Dinos from the Agricultural University of Athens, who lost his life in a car accident in the early hours of Sunday, 27 October, at the young age of 31.
Dinos was an invaluable collaborator on our project and was always present at all experimental activities in Greece. He contributed to everything from equipment set up, remote sensing activities, sensor data collection, to image analysis and participation in the project’s D&C activities.
He was always a key AUA team member, offering advice and innovative ideas, and above all, he was known for his smile and kindness, which radiated even to those who had only met him online.
He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. His kindness and dedication will be etched in all of our memories.
