ScaleAgData

ScaleAgData focuses on advancing the use of agricultural data by improving the governance, integration, and scalability of complex data streams for agri-environmental monitoring. The project develops innovative approaches in sensor technologies, data analytics, and Earth Observation (EO) products to enable large-scale monitoring of agricultural and environmental conditions across Europe. By strengthening data governance frameworks and demonstrating the value of enhanced monitoring capabilities, ScaleAgData supports more competitive, sustainable, and data-driven agricultural systems. scaleagdata.eu

ScaleAgData and CrackSense share a common objective of improving agricultural decision-making through advanced sensing technologies and data-driven innovation. While ScaleAgData focuses on scaling agricultural data, enhancing data governance, and integrating sensor and Earth Observation technologies for agri-environmental monitoring, CrackSense applies real-time sensing solutions to monitor and better understand fruit cracking in citrus, pomegranate, table grapes, and sweet cherries.

Together, the two projects demonstrate how high-quality data, advanced monitoring technologies, and effective data management can support more sustainable farming practices, strengthen agricultural resilience, and enable informed decision-making across the agricultural sector.
