AgriDataValue aims to accelerate the digital transformation of agriculture by establishing an open, intelligent, and distributed Agri-Environment Data Space (ADS) that supports smart farming and agri-environmental monitoring. The project combines advanced big data and data space technologies with agricultural knowledge, innovative business models, and policy approaches to enable the effective use of agricultural data. Through the development of new tools, methods, pilot facilities, and engagement activities, AgriDataValue supports the upscaling of real-time agricultural sensor data, strengthening smart farming capacities, competitiveness, and sustainable decision-making across the agricultural sector.
- Creating Impact Together
AgriDataValue and CrackSense share a common vision of advancing data-driven agriculture through the effective use of digital technologies and real-time information. While AgriDataValue focuses on creating the infrastructure, data ecosystems, and innovative approaches needed to manage and utilise agricultural data at scale, CrackSense applies advanced sensing technologies to address fruit cracking challenges in citrus, pomegranate, table grapes, and sweet cherries.
By combining expertise in agricultural data spaces, sensing technologies, and smart farming applications, the two projects contribute to improving the availability, accessibility, and practical use of agricultural data, supporting more efficient, sustainable, and resilient farming systems.

AgriDataValue Advisory Board Collaboration (2023)
CrackSense strengthened collaboration with AgriDataValue through the participation of Future Systems Hub in the project’s Advisory Board. This cooperation brings together expertise from both initiatives, fostering knowledge exchange and supporting the development of innovative approaches in agricultural technology, smart farming, and data-driven solutions. Through this collaboration, both projects contribute to advancing digital agriculture, agri-environmental monitoring, and food security.
- NESTLER Project Event, Athens (2025)
CrackSense and AgriDataValue were represented at the NESTLER Project event held on 27 May 2025 at OTEAcademy in Athens, where Horizon Europe projects working on digital agriculture and smart farming exchanged knowledge and presented their latest innovations. The event provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration between CrackSense and AgriDataValue, fostering knowledge exchange and reinforcing the shared commitment of Horizon Europe projects to advancing data-driven and sustainable agriculture.
