CrackSense at the Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad

CrackSense participated at the 93rd International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, held from May 16th to May 21st, as part of a joint activity implemented together with other EU-funded projects.

The Future Systems Hub, a member of CrackSense consortium, showcased its projects through interactive presentations and activities, roundtable discussions, and technology demonstrations that are shaping the future of agrifood systems. The event attracted around 120,000 visitors, highlighting its significance as one of the key agricultural gatherings in the region and beyond. 

Rich Programme Attracting Visitors from Around World

During the fair, the Future Systems Hub booth showcased around 20 European projects implemented by the association, covering a wide range of engaging and highly relevant topics. Through a diverse programme of daily interactive activities, these themes were presented in an engaging way- from sustainable agriculture, digital innovations, and enhancing plant protein production in Europe, to new smart applications for citizens and biodiversity-friendly farming practices.

Projects First-Hand: Conversations with FSH Staff

Direct communication with FSH staff offered deeper insight into the European projects implemented by the organisation. Special focus was placed on projects providing scientific, financial, educational, and business support to various actors in the sector, including FarmBioNet, RES-WHEAT, STEP UP, Digi4Live, Farmtopia, VALPRO PATH, WiseFood, INCiTiS-Food, OpenAgri, IPMorama, InPlasTwin, PLANTOMYC, SUNFUSION, RefreSCAR, RIA4FOOD, FUELPHORIA, TALLHEDA and CrackSense. Through these projects, Future Systems Hub supports innovation development, strengthens competitiveness, and promotes the scaling of sustainable solutions in agrifood systems.

Conclusion

Through its participation in the Agricultural Fair, Future Systems Hub reinforced the importance of connecting science, innovation, and practice in agriculture. By engaging in European projects, including CrackSense, the association actively contributes to developing sustainable solutions and strengthening the region’s innovation capacity.
